Is it possible to publish Power Query functions?

Is it possible to publish&reuse Power Query custom functions (like datasets)?

For example, I want to publish and share fnSmartAndComplex function (and much more useful stuff), so everyone in organization can enjoy and reuse it in other reports?

Hi @Anonymous ,
currently this is not possible via one central repository. You have to use M-Extensions (Create a function library in Power BI using M-Extensions – The BIccountant") .
They have to be installed on every machine that used Power BI Desktop to design the reports and to work in the Power BI service, they have to be used via a gateway.
But there is light on the horizon, MS is working on a more convenient method: Save and curate a personal query collection in Power Query | Microsoft Learn - not sure about the details though, how this will be implemented.

Imke Feldmann (The BIccountant)
