I am trying to check if a date has passed and remove that row from my data. I've created a column and attempted to use the Date.IsInPreviousNYears function but it is yielding a "True" for everything.
The formula I am using is Date.IsInPreviousNYears(Date.AddYears(DateTime.FixedLocalNow(), -1), 2).
I see that I am not referencing a certain column (ExpirationDate) within the formula but I am unsure where that would fit into it. Any help is much appreciated!
Yes, you need to pass the field as a parameter. The function already knows the current date so just something simple:
Date.IsInPreviousNYears([ExpirationDate], 5)
Thanks for the help! When I added it to my Custom Column, I recieved an error on every line. When I went into the settings for the Custom Column (where this equation lives), it updated it to Date.IsInPreviousNYears(Date.AddYears([ExpirationDate]), 5). Is this right?
