Hello,
I'm working on importing multiple CSV documents from a sharepoint folder using the combine files (binaries) function. When I do this there is a carriage return in an address field that will split the row into 2 seperate rows of data. because of the structure of the data this ends up shifting all of the data over a few columns.
I can completed this operation when important importing a single CSV by changing the QuoteStyle=QuoteStyle.Csv however I do not have the option for quote style CSV in the combine files statement or anywhere in the documentation.
Source File
Row Number | Person | Address | Create Date | Title |
1 | A | 123 State St 123 State St | 1/1/20222 | Install |
Actual Outcome
Row Number | Person | Address | Create Date | Title |
1 | A | 123 State St | (null) | (null) |
2 | 123 State St" | 1/1/2022 | Install | (null) |
Intended Outcome
Row Number | Person | Address | Create Date | Title |
1 | A | 123 State St 123 State St | 1/1/2022 | Install |
If you're using the combine files UI, then it likely creates some helper queries like Sample File, Transform File, and Transform Sample File. I think you should be able to add "QuoteStyle=QuoteStyle.Csv" to Transform Sample File the same way you can add it to a single CSV. That should update the Transform File function which is used in your main query that does the combining.
