Hello Power BI Community,
I hope you can help, please.
I recently saw that SharePoint has the functionality to only retrieve data from a Default View in a SharePoint List. So I can add columns to a Default View and Power BI only retrieves those columns.
Does anyone know if this is possible with Dataverse, as it too has Views? I can't see where to do this when I'm selecting the tables. I can only get all rows from the table.
Any help would be much appreciated,
Garry

Behind the scenes, Power Query's Dataverse connector fetches data using Dataverse's TDS endpoint. That endpoint "provides read-only access to the table data of the target Dataverse environment.... No custom views of the data have been provided."
So, views currently don't (currently) come into play with the Dataverse connector.

@AnkitKukreja thanks for the URL, very informative, but it did not mention that I can use a View from a Table, so I imagine it is not currently possible.
Hi @GarryPope ,
Dataverse does provide support for SharePoint, OneDrive, and OneNote integration. ... Lets app users manage common document types, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and create folders to save and manage those documents that are seamlessly stored in SharePoint from within Dataverse apps
Please refer to the official document provided by @AnkitKukreja .
