Turning Individual Years into a Span of Time

I am trying to take an excel sheet of data with Make, Model, and Year for vehicles into a BI Report. I need to take the individual years like 1998, 1999, 2000 and turn them into a value like 1998-2000. I am newer to BI and unsure how to do this. Any Help would be greatly appreciated.
