Trend line with X-Axis as month name&year

First case: Months as number

Galat198_0-1628681398381.png

Second case: Month Name and Year

Galat198_1-1628681460099.png

I can not add a trend line when  months as names with year
The option when month  like 01-2021 also does not allow to add a trend line

How in any case can I add both year + month in axis X and also display the trend line?

Hi @Galat198,

I reproduced your problem and solved it by changing my X axis (Date) from categorical to continuous.

You can change it in the format pane > select X axis and change the type.

By the way, according to what you mentioned above"The option when month like 01-2021 also does not allow to add a trend line",If the 01-2010 is in text format, it does not support adding trend lines.

Hope it helps.

@Galat198 , Trend or continuous axis is only supported as of now date and numbers

Try to month start date and see if that can work

Hi @amitchandak,

thank you very much for your short hint "Try to month start date". This is the solution I've been looking for for the past few hours. I'm pasting the difference between showing graph with date and month start date on x-axis for others who want to show data on monthly level and thus have issue with trend line.
