Store Point in Time Data

I'm looking to store a summary set of point in time data out of a SQL server (that I don't control). This data isn't stored in a timebased manner on the server so I'm looking to query with Power BI and save the result to a dataset, SharePoint list or something so that I can generate a report showing trends over time for various pieces of data. Any suggestions?

@kp_wood13 , Not very clear, but when you date and time fields. then you can show trend in power bi using line visual

The information you have provided is not making the problem clear to me. Can you please explain with an example.

Appreciate your Kudos.

As an example, I'm using several tile visuals to display counts for different statuses. I would like to save these outside the database I'm referencing to be able to compare month-over-month numbers for each count.
