I would do display this graph with the most recent values on the left and the older values on the right. Please advise.

I would suggest going into the Query Editor and making sure that the Data Type is set to DateTime. Once that has been done, the data should be re-loaded and the sorting option should appear
Even after changing the data type to date this sort option is not visible

What you would need on your X-Axis is your date field so that it can show it over time.
If the sorting is still out you can click on the three dots "..." and it will give you the option to "Sort By", then select Sort By Date if that is your column name and the line graph should then show it in the correct way.

So, I assume it's because the x-Asis is not formated as a date field. Which might be true, but doesn't solve my problem. My x-Axis includes date and time. It's reading a cell I get every hour coming from an Excel spreadsheet, which is in Date format, specifically " [$-en-US]m/d/yy h:mm AM/PM;@ ".
I can't "sort" on that and haven't figured out a work around.
