Hi!
Issue: Multiple users have reported seeing inaccurate data in new card visuals. Essentially, there are multiple similar new cards on a report page, the only difference between these cards being a filter that is applied to them. The issue is that they see the same data across the visuals when they should see different data based on the applied filter.
Current solution: This issue gets resolved once they hit the reset filters/slicers and refresh visuals buttons in Power BI Service.
Questions:
What could be causing this? My guess is that it has something to do with the user's cache, but it would be helpful to figure out the root cause. I'm trying to see if there is anything I could do from the reporting end to prevent this from happening altogether.
Any help is much appreciated!
Thank you!
@irynad , Ask users to clear the browser cache once and use the report again. There are times when the old parameters are cached by the browser and causing this
I see - so there isn't really a way to prevent this (at least to some extent) on the PBI end? I was thinking of clearing the data cache in PBI Desktop before publishing the reports to see if that might help, but I'm not sure if those could be related in any way.
