Hi,
I use a Ribbon Chart.
If I have a selection where no data is available then no Ribbon Chart is displayed in Power BI Desktop. This is the expected experience.
But when I publish this report to app.powerbi.com then I see something strange: When no data is available then the data part is not visible but the "middle part", the "flow part" is still visible (from the last session).
A few screenshot to explain it better:
#1: PowerBI Desktop - nothing selected, all data - all is fine:
#2: Power BI Desktop: (Blank) selected - no data displayed -- all is as expected:
#3: the very same report on app.powerbi.com - nothing selected - all is as expected
#4: app.powerbi.com - (Blank) selected - the "middle part" is still visible - WHY?
I tested it with a small, simple Excel file as data source to make it reproducible:
Anyone out here with an idea how to overcome this problem?
Kind regards,
jomu
