Not able to unpivot sharepiont columns in a separate table in Power Bi

In Power BI I have a sharepiont list as table and When I tried to "Unpivot Only Selected Columns" then it is not creating separate table. it is unpivot rows in the same dateaset which means rows increased by (No of rows * unpivot columns)

Thanks for the reply from Alex87, please allow me to provide another insight:

The Unpivot Only Selected Columns action in Power BI is designed to transform data in the same table, not to create a new table. When you unpivot a column, you're essentially converting wide-form data (each data point has its own column) into long-form data. That's why you're seeing an increase in the number of rows.

If you want to keep the original table unchanged and create a new table with non-pivoted data, you can copy the original table before performing the unpivot operation.

Then paste it again.

Can you give more details like print screens and mocking the  the original data structure , the outcome you encounter, and the expectations? The behavior you describe looks typical and expected due to the nature of the unpivot operation.
