Hello,
I have been looking into using the newly released card visual (123) (New card visual | Public preview | Microsoft Power BI Blog | Microsoft Power BI) and wondering if there is a way to apply individual filters to each different metrics? For example if I have 3 metrics, can I apply Filter A to Metric 1, and Filter B to Metric 2 and maybe Filters A & B to Metric 3? This seems like a somewhat critical feature that is needed to make this multi card truly useful, or is the card mostly about cosmetic UI enhancements?
From what I can tell, this is not possible, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything obvious before I submit the Idea.
Thanks

@mbahonen you have to build that logic in the measures you are using in the card visual. It surely has cosmetic value but it is more than that. For example, if you have 3 different card visuals (old one), Power BI will send 3 queries to the engine whereas if 3 measures are used in the new card visual, it will send one query to the engine. So it is not only cosmetic but more than that.

Thanks, yeah that's what I assumed. I think that's a limitation. There are times you would want to use one card for easier UI, and be able to use 1 metric and use the filter context from the filter pane. It also allows less clutter in the model.
