Is there a way to automatically filter what is displayed on one chart based on a selection made in another chart?
I want to create a bar chart that is filtered to a group based on what is selected on a map. So, for example, you select a point on a map that is in the state of Texas - the bar chart would only show data points that have Texas listed as the state.

Hi @Domenick,
Assuming I understood your question correctly, yes it is possible to filter a visual based on the selection made in another visual.
By default, Power BI visuals are interactive and whenever you select any data point in a visual, the relevant data in all other related visuals does get highlighted.
Nothing is selected
Bikes is selected in Total Orders and relevant data is highlighted in Subcategory Treemap
To enable cross-filtering -
Voila! That's how you enable cross-filtering and use Edit Interactions. For more info, refer to the following docs.
