Ideas for correlation analysis

I have invoicing data for two years:

factor - mm - yyyy - value

- value indicates the % share of annual invoicing by MO

I have made transformation so that I know if:

- factor has data for more than one time series (years)

- for how many months factor has value <> 0

I would like to see if there is correlation between years (values) for those factor which have data for both years.

Hello @Anonymous ,

Can you specify the columns or features you want to see the correlation?

Also, review the correlation coefficient quick measure in the following link

I want to see if values between two years of data "correlate" and is it possible to produce one new value which I can use as a deviation value for next year budget value to be divided into months.

Eg.

Factor a has data for both years but all invoicing happens once a year -> budget is divided equally to each month

Factor b has data for both years and invoicing happens every month but there is high variation between months -> what kind of value is the best for dividing budget for months
