How to display values on legend for Pie Chart

I have several Pie Charts that display commodities. Everything works fine when the commodity has a piece of the pie to show the value, however, if I have too many commodities, the slice doesn't show and therefore you can't tell what the value is.

See my image below. For the Oats, I only see the legend without the value because it's such a small value that is not even represented in the pie chart.

How can I add the value next to the legend for Oats?

Hi @mschelah
if the % of Oats is very small compare to 100% in distribution there is no way you can display it. Alternate solution you can try to reduce the Data lebel size to minimum value and change the font type so that the smallest value will be visible.

Othe than this you have to use other visual to showcase whole to part relationship.

I hope I answered your question!

Don't forget to give thumbs up and accept this as a solution if it helped you!!!

What about creating a measure or something like that?

Hey @mschelah ,

you can't!
Maybe  it's a better idea to use a simple table with in-cell bars.

Regards,

Tom
