Date range between beginning of current month till today from dim_date

Hello everyone,

i am working on a dahsboard date range filter and i want him to be set up to begining of current month untill Today's date by default but also i want user to be able to select any date range that is avaiable. currently it uses "Date" column from my dim_date table and that date table has some type of Identification symbol or something like that ( idk what is that mean).

Can someone pls help me for this?

If I understand you correctly you can achieve this using bookmarks.

This solution is good but not the one i am looking for. Bc i want the date slicer to be default to beginning of the month till today but also if user wants to see different date they can adjust the slicer.

Unfortubately we don't have this functionality in one slicer..
