Creating a column chart with 2 different dates on the same axis

Hello,

I'm seeking guidance on how to create a clustered column chart on power bi where two date columns from the same table are displayed on a the same axis.

In my data, I have two date columns and a column for the amount, I want to create a clusterd column chart with the date being the x axis, and the amount for each date column as the y axis.

Start Date Resolution Date Amount
7/10/2023 9/9/2023100
9/9/2023 10/5/2023500
8/10/2023 1000
8/9/2023 1500
8/10/2023 10/25/20232000

Once more, I would like to emphasize that the amount should be visually presented using two columns in the chart: "amount(start)" and "amount(resolution)". The x-axis should be structured based on months.

Hi  @Su_Alm ,

Here are the steps you can follow:

1. Select [Start Date] and [Resolution Date] – Unpivot Columns.

Note:

When using Unpivot Columns, the selected columns with null values will be automatically ignored when converting, if you want to keep the null values, you can select two columns and replace the null values with other dates.  Transform - Replace Value.
