Hello,
I have a PBI where I import a Database with a column with a Date which is recognized as type "Date" both in Power Query and in "Data View". However, it is not recognized as Date in "Report View" (there is not the icon calendar).
In other Forum I see that I can "replicate" a data hierarchy by my-self, but still there are some functionalities that does not work if I do not have the date set as "Date" in Report View (for example I cannot create a quick measure YoY Change%).
I have tried the following:
- upload the file both as Table and as Range
- check the option "Time Intelligence" in Data Load.
Any other Idea?
Thank you

Hi, it seems I solved the problem by updating the PBI version and by replicating the work on a new PBI workbook. Seems the other one was somehow compromised.
Thank you anyway
Hi, thank you for your answer. I have tried with the documentation but still I cannot see the date as Date Hierarchy.
I have tried to upload a new table with just a column with the date, and I tried to convert the excel documento to text/csv but still not working. Any other idea?
Hi @nicocgn ,
Sorry, I can't reproduce your issue on my side.
Please provide me with more details about your table and your data model or share me with your pbix file after removing sensitive data.

Hi @nicocgn ,
It seems that your date field does not display date hierarchy.
Here is a document about this:
