Burn down chart in power BI

Hi Team,

I want to plot burn down chart with respect to 2 dates Target date and Projected date against all dates for said year for each PI Cycle..Projected date is calculated date based on some logic.

I tried using creating with respect to measure, but it is somhow not working properly with all date periods like, month, year or day wise hierarchy.

The same will work if i could build separate columns with no.of work items completed with respect to each date.

I had created inactive relationship with both dates and used userrelationship function to get count of workitems.

I want 4 burndowns for each PI.

Please help me out with the solution.

Your help is really appreciated.

I have attached the sample dataset.

Hi Greg,

Thank you for the reply, I have gone through the file, but unfortunately my senario is different.

In my case I have to plot number of workitems completed with rspect to 2 date columns target date and Pojected date. And the burn down will show how the projected line looks with respect to Targetted burndown line.

Also I have to create inactive relationship for both dates, which is causing problem.

when I create one active relationship ,other dates data gives incorrect numbers.

Please help e out in this senario.

@Arundhati_23 I have a burndown chart example in DAX Cookbook. Chapter 8, the last recipe. Here's a link to the PBIX file for that chapter: DAXCookbook/Ch8 at master · gdeckler/DAXCookbook (github.com)
