Count Function Giving Incorrect Results

Hello All,

I want to create a visual that shows number of items per month. I have created a Slicer for Year & Month. But When I am using this :

MI_REM_PNBD = COUNT('MI TRACKER_INTERIORS'[Promise])
Its giving me blank.
Promise is the Date Column and MI TRACKER_INTERIORS is my table name.
There is data for Month March , April... but still its giving me Blank.
Can anyone please help with this?

@Kamana08

I am not sure why you are trying to count the date and also filtering the date using the slicer.

try counting the project like this

MI_REM_PNBD = COUNT('MI TRACKER_INTERIORS'[Project]) and use this measure as column.

@Kamana08 Are all these columns in the same table? What does your data look like? Can you post an example?

Sorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?
Not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882

Also, please see this post regarding How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-Get-Your-Question-Answered-Quickly/ba-p/38490

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
