Calculate Future Moving Average based on previous moving average and history actuals

Hello,

 

I am trying to calculate future 12 months moving average based on the last 8 months.

Now we are in 2023 (next year will be 2024), so I will need to calculate this for 2024 (next year for 2025). In January 2024 I will take data from May-December2023, for February 2024 I will take data from already calculated January 2024 and June-December 2023, and so on.

All I found on the community is this formula:

CALCULATE(SUM(Forecast[Quantity]),DATESINPERIOD('Calendar'[Date],MAX('Calendar'[Date]),-8,MONTH))/8
 
but this is just doing a moving average for the present/pasted months. I need to go 12 months in the future and take data from the history and from the allreadey calculated months, like in the pictures above.
