Power Query Advanced Editor be an actual 'advanced' editor

It would be really nice if Power Query M advanced editors from both Power BI Service Dataflows, Power BI Desktop and Excel would be an actual "advanced" editor with code formatting features.  And have them synchronize their naming conventions for automatic creation of steps.

At least a couple of us agree on this: Re: If Power Query M advanced editor would be actu... - Microsoft Fabric Community

Here are the features I'd like to see implemented as part of the Power Query editor:

- Same naming convention for automatic steps creation

- Same forced indentation to 2 spaces throughout the tools

- Beautify and auto-formatting options

Or, you could just make VSCode the advanced editor for Dataflows, Power BI Desktop and Excel.

With the power query m extension, it does all that automatically (except for the steps naming convention, that part is on our own).

It would save us the time of copying code back and forth.
