Subject Matter Expert with a passion for guiding companies in development of action plans to minimize maintenance spend by eliminating issues that prevent optimal performance.
My entire career has been in manufacturing (Oil and Chem). My assignments have predominantly been in maintenance and reliability; as well as, operations, projects, and engineering. Most recently I have been working globally to develop and implement the Maintenance Competitiveness Improvement process for Shell. This includes pulling the site teams together to set up a sustainable platform that builds a culture that believes in “A” work process that delivers the desired improvements in performance. I have led multiple cost improvement efforts with refineries, olefins plants, and specialty chemical plants. In this role I work closely with the leadership teams and the people in the field to systematically improve performance. In previous assignments I have served as Operations Unit Manager, Maintenance Manager, Reliability Manager, Turnaround Manager, Project and Cost Control Manager.
These job experiences form the framework and background that enables me to :
* identify the highest priority opportunities that will enhance reliable performance of our plants
* jointly develop a detailed understanding of the "Gap to Competition", and the "Gap to Potential"
* develop the work processes that will deliver the desired results.
