Kaleigh Mulkey is a recent graduate of Kennesaw State University. She graduated in the summer of 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and minored in Statistics. After graduating as a salutatorian from Mountain Education Center High School in 2009, she studied the art of Ceramics and Communications at Reinhardt University for two years. In 2011, Kaleigh discovered her love and passion for Mathematics during her first year of learning at Kennesaw State. Throughout her studies at KSU, Kaleigh was president of the Kennesaw Women in Mathematics organization. She also participated in the under graduate research program where she traveled to three different states showcasing the results of her research entitled Modeling Traffic at an Intersection. Kaleigh received multiple awards for her research including winning second place at KSU’s SAS Day, 2015. In 2012, Kaleigh was blessed with a beautiful little girl named Liliana while working part-time at Applebee’s and going to college. Lily is the root of her inspiration and her proudest accomplishment. She is now a member of The Sigma Xi Scientific Research Society and has been working at RoseBud Technologies as a Business Intelligence Data Analyst.
