Power BI Dev Camp - Programing Datasets Using the Tabular Object Model

    ‎01-05-2021 04:44 PM

Presented by DAX expert, @Phil_Seamark as part of @TedPattison Dev Camp series:

In this Dev Camp session, we examine how to query and modify Microsoft Power BI datasets using C# and the Tabular Object Model (TOM). Discover how to connect to a local data model running in Power BI Desktop as well as how to connect to data models in the Power BI Service through the XMLA endpoint. Campers will learn how to write C# programs to automate some of the more tedious aspects of building Power BI data models as well as how to integrate these programs into Power BI Desktop with its support for external tools.
