Reducción/agrupación/binning datos de series temporales

Hola amigos. Estoy empezando con Power BI y tengo lo que creo que debería ser un problema simple. He intentado algunos googling, y todas las sugerencias me parecen más complejas de lo que deberían ser. Me pregunto si me estoy perdiendo algo obvio.

Tengo un montón de datos de series temporales, con puntos de datos cada 15 minutos. Me gustaría reducir la carga de memoria y acelerar las cosas agrupando la serie temporal en contenedores por hora. Esto debería hacer que mi conjunto de datos sea del 25% de la longitud que tenía anteriormente.

¿Cuál es la mejor manera de hacer esto? ¿Sucede en la etapa de importación o más adelante? Cualquier consejo o enlace a videos tutoriales relevantes sería muy apreciado.

@EddieWoodford agregación es un concepto totalmente diferente. 1.2 mil filas no es mucho, y también es importación y sus usuarios no sentirán ningún impacto de rendimiento porque no es una consulta directa. No hay necesidad de groupby ya que no va a ayudar en nada

@EddieWoodford Recomiendo hacerlo en la etapa de importación, si el origen de datos es sql, puede agruparlo cada hora antes de importar.

@parry2k, y si es un CSV? 🙂

@EddieWoodford bien en ese caso tiene que cargar csv completo y luego no importa bin en horas o minutos, puede usar groupby en la consulta de energía para reducir el número de filas, pero tiene que importar todas las filas en la primera etapa. GroupBy es una consulta costosa que y no está seguro de si realmente desea usarla. También depende de cuántos registros está importando 1 millón, 20 millones, 100Mil

Bien, interesante. Mientras googling, me encontré con el tema de 'Aggregating'. ¿Eso es relevante aquí? Sonaba como lo que me interesaba, especialmente cuando hablaban de mejorar el rendimiento.

Mis datos CSV tienen 1,5 millones de filas. Si uso GroupBy, ¿acelerará la frecuencia de actualización de los espectadores en los paneles en línea?
