word cloud takes a lot of time to load with chunk of data.

HI all,

Currently we are using custom visual 'Word Cloud' to represent data.

We are facing an issue with loading time for a word cloud.

We are having 2, 3 filters applied on a page. When we remove the filter and for a default selection of a filter,  Word Cloud taking too much time to load, resulting the browser to close/ kill the page.

We are observing similer behaviour on edge and chrome also in respective .pbix file.

More over when data got refresh on word cloud and we clicked on one of the word on cloud, the table visual [below word cloud] which displaying a data, throwing an error: 'Couldn't load data for this visual. the query is to complex to execute as a single statement'

How many data records do you have in your table when it is not filtered to repro this issue?

the count of rows is nearlly 90000. 

The main issue is with word cloud. it is not able to handle large chunk of data.

I tied to load large chunk of data with latest version of WordCloud, following message will be displayed in the upper left corner. It seems that this visual limits the volume of data when there are too many values.

Did you repro the issue with Version 1.2.3 — Last updated 8/3/2016?

@jai We've experienced similar issue. It will be the question of contacting the author and providing feedback as I think it is simply not able to handle the volume of data.
