the display unity is translated automatically depending on your location

Hi guys,

I have a card displaying like below with the display unity K

bboy0009_0-1668701096799.png

the visual is correct in Desktop and Power BI Service in France but the character "K" is translated in japonese when an japonese user open the report in Service in his country.

How can I set this display unity and prevent any translation in any country ?

Thank you in advance !

Hi @bboy0009 ,

This may have something to do with the browser the user is using.

You can still unify the language of Power BI through settings.

Which browser is the user using? Please refer to the link below:

Hi @bboy0009 ,

There is a language option in the settings of power bi service. The default is to use the language of the browser.

If you need to change the language, there are two ways. The first is to change the language of the browser so that the service will be automatically synchronized, or you can directly change the service Language settings, fix it to a certain language.

@v-jialluo-msft thank you very much !

I tried many languages in Power BI service and indeed the display unity change depends on it. But with japonese, this information have not been translated, it remains "K" so I dont understand why the japonese user had it translated. Do you have any idea ?
