synonymn natural language query

Will the excel powerpivot synonnym function be incorporated into PowerBI desktop? this helps the natural langague queries, so is a big gap in desktop if its not put there - have to go back to using excel rather than linking a datasource to desktop.

Hi Jan!

It's definitely we can add in the future! It looks like you've already done, what I was going to suggest, vote on it in our feature forums: https://support.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi/suggestions/8022735-add-q-a-optimization-tool. If anyone else is interested in this, they should vote as well!

Re: synonymn natural language query

In the August update, they added support for importing an excel workbook with a data model, queries, and power views into the new Power BI Desktop. Does this mean if you create synonyms in the data model, they can be brought into the new Power BI application?
