Hi, I have tried using slicers for month and year on one of the pages of my report, which worked fine. But I needed to use it on all the pages of my report, so I switched ON the "Sync slicer pane" and selected the pages where I wanted it to be visible and also to appear (i.e. ticked left and right columns for all the pages). This makes the slicers to appear on all the pages. But then when I select one particular month, data in all of the graphs doesn't get changed, except where I first applied the slicer.
I am trying to do all these things in web based PowerBI.
Can someone please provide me some input on how I can modify this? I tried to Google for it, but I did not receive any satisfactory solution.

I found out solution my issue! Earlier I had put slicer on one page of the report and made it sync and visible on remaining pages of the report. Here, I thought that it would automatically get applicable to rest of the pages even if the data is coming from different datasets on different pages, which is not the case and I was unaware of this fact as I'm newbie to Power BI.
So, the solution I found by referring to "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPDjCuvKWCw&t=199s" this video and carefully thinking on it. Then I found my mistake and placed different slicer on different page, assign it a sync name, rest of the things are taken care of automatically (visiblity and sync). And this works AWESOME!!!!
Hmm, that doesn't sound like how sync slicer's are supposed to work. Very difficult to troubleshoot. You could check the Issues forum here:

And if it is not there, then you could post it.

Hey, thank you very much for your reply.
But unfortunately, I do not find solution to my issue over here!
And this is quite uniteresting that the slicer which mean to work with the whole report, does not work!
