I would like to give external users access to view some dashboards but only the dashboard and not the report. The reason for this is that my external users do not need a complicated solution and just want to view the data in the way that we have designed and organised the data/analysis in the dashboards.
Is it possible to do this?
Solved! Go to Solution.
When you share a dashboard:
Everyone you share it with can see your dashboard and interact with your reports in Reading View. They can't create new reports or save changes to existing reports.
Everyone can even see the changes you make.
No-one can see or download the dataset.
Everyone can manually refresh the dashboard data.

@sebbyp You can accomplish this, but you will have to manually update each tile you pin to the dashboard. Click on the elipses "..." in the upper right of the tile -> Click on the pencil icon (Tile Details) -> Check the "Set Custom Link" checkbox, and input the URL of the Dashboard -> make sure the "Open custom link in the same tab?" is check to "Yes"
Doing this will basically make it so that when any user clicks on the tile, it appears that nothing happens. In essence, making it look like you only shared a dashboard with them.

Hi Seth,
When I click on the three-ellipses in the upper right of the tile, click on "Edit details", the "Set custom link" is greyed out as follows:
Thoughts?
Thanks!
