restriction of downloaded data in model

Good day.

I saw here partially the answer to my question, but there is a MSSQL database. I have a situation, the data is loaded into the model through the ODBC with the postgresql database. There are several tens of millions of lines and, of course, there is not enough RAM to load this table. I tried the option with the RangerStart and RangeEnd parameters, it does not work. I also can’t apply a filter (top rows) because data is not loaded up to this point. who can tell what? thank

HI @Anonymous ,

If you are works with sql connector, you can enable advanced option 'sql statement' with custom t-sql to limit received data amount.

For you scenario, I'd like to suggest you refer to following document to enable directquery mode on odbc connector:

Enabling Direct Query for an ODBC based connector
