reports not sync'd with dashboard

Greetings,

One of our first-time users (who is also the boss, of course) is able to access our dashboard and see current information, however when he clicks on the dashboard and is dropped into a report the data in the report is stale by about 4 days.  The reports attempt to update (spinning wheels) until the "oops something bad happened..." message shows up.

It appears this issue is only impacting the one user.  He accesses the dashboard through IE.  Others are using the same browser without issue.

Thoughts?

Only thing I can think of is some kind of cache issue, perhaps try clearing it. Would be interesting to see if he opens it in a different browser if he sees the same thing or something different. Not sure this would prove a caching issues, but certainly wouldn't rule it out either.
