Hi,
The documentation page for Publish to Web (https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-service-publish-to-web/) used to say that DirectQuery was not supported. It doesn't say that now, but it says that "Reports using real-time data sources." are not supported. Does this mean the same thing? Or is DirectQuery now supported?
thanks!
Martin
Solved! Go to Solution.
@mbherbener From the test that I just did now, DirectQuery isn't supported with Publish to Web.
Yes, DQ would fall under "real time data sources".

Ok, now (14 Feb 2017) the Publishto Web "Limitations" (https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-service-publish-to-web/#limitations) doesn't mention "real-time data sources" anymore. Does this mean that DirectQuery is supported, as long as it doesn't violate any of the other limitations?
thanks
Martin
