Hi,
I have this scenario: I'm publishing a paginated report to PBI service. In that paginated report (report1) I have a button/textbox with "Go to URL" action calling another paginated report (report2) in the same PBI workspace. It's passing the report parameters and everything is working like a charm in PBI service. I even created a new experience app on top of that workspace and the link is working fine. When I run report1 on my mobile device via the Power BI app, the report1 itself works fine but the URL link does not open the report2. Do you know any way to work around this?
The URL is built the following way:
="https://app.powerbi.com/groups/me/apps/xxxx/rdlreports/yyyy?ctid=zzzz" & "&rp:store="&cstr(Parameters!store.Value) & "&rp:range_from="& cdate(Parameters!range_from.Value) & "&rp:range_to="& cdate(Parameters!range_to.Value)
Thanks in advance,
Artur.
HI @Anonymous,
I'd like to suggest you copy and binding these url on normal power bi report button action and test to confirm if 'report server' redirect features not available on power bi mobile app side.

Hi v-shex-msft,
I tried the approach that you suggested. On the botton/textbox I changed the action to "Go to report" and in provided the URL ="https://app.powerbi.com/groups/me/apps/xxxx/rdlreports/yyyy?ctid=zzzz". Unfortunately when trying to save the report to the PBI workspace I got an error message:
Unable to save to the workspace
Exception thrown when user tries to upload report that contains drillthrough while it is not supported
ErrorCode: PaginatedReportDrillthroughUnsupported
Details: An unknown error was encountered. Please try again.
Does anyone have any other ideas?
Cheers,
Artur
HI @Anonymous,
You can try to connect to your report server on mobile app client to test report service redirect feature.
In addition, you can also contact to the mobile team to confirm this.
