Hello,
I've installed the Power BI gateway on a server which restarts every day.
The gateway application doesn't start automatically unless I start it manually.
According to Microsoft documentation, there suppose to be a service called "on-premises data gateway", but I don't see it.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/data-integration/gateway/service-gateway-restart
What am I missing? how do I start the gateway automatically after the server restarts?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Thank you, the service was missing because the personal gateway was installed.
After I install the standard gateway instead, everything worked like a charm 🙂
Hi, @edant
Windows has always used the Services panel as a way to manage the services that are running on your computer. You can easily get there at any point by simply hitting WIN + R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog, and typing in services.msc.
You can select the service 'On-premises data gateway service' and double-click to open up the properties view.
Then you need to set the Startup type to ‘Automatic (Delayed Start)’ or ‘Automatic’.
