old data sources shown in dataflow

Hi Power BI'lers,

I just saw something strange in my dataflows set up:

when you let dataflow show as a diagram and activate thew "show data sources" I see old data sources in the diagram that don't exist in the dataflow anymore.

In my example here: there is one Sharepoint based XLSX + six OData sources.

The dataflow just has five OData sources.

How is it possible to clean this up? I also saw this when configuring refresh schedules, that it want to use old sources as well.

Bug? Wanted behaviour (why)?

Best,

Matthias

Hi @mafl089 ,

It's because there is still a configuration for this data source under gateway. Please use Manage gateways feature and remove the data source under your gateway.

Hi @v-jayw-msft

thanks for your hint, but that seems not to be the reason.

Within my data gateway I have only configured a general OData connection, pointing to the base URL of the OData service for our nav:

http://server.corp.domain.tld:7048/DynamicsNAV71/OData/Company('MyCompany')

This shouldn't be deleted, as it is the basis for my gateway connections for all valid (the five green) OData sources.

The Sharepoint Online XLSX isn't connected through data gateway anyway, as it is online and not a on-prem service.

Best,

Matthias
