no ArcGIS map under "my group" selection in reference layer of ArcGIS Visual

Hi 

I'm using the maps shared by external group from another organisation. there is no layer when I select the "My Groups" option in the ArcGIS PowerBI visual. 

however, I can find the maps/layers when I select  the "My Organisation" option

I am not sure that I understand what specifically you are referring to?  Can you provide some screenshots?

Have you reveiwed this article Interacting with an ArcGIS map that has been shared with you - Power BI | Microsoft Docs ?  That article indicates you ahve to have an Arc GIS account as well - are you signed in with that account?  

Also, according to this article from ArcGIS (Add layers to maps (Map Viewer Classic)—ArcGIS Online Help | Documentation ) , you have to be signed in with the ArcGIS account and not a public account ("You will only see some of these options if you are not signed in or if you are signed in with a public account."  and " If you are not signed in, you only see the ArcGIS Online and Living Atlas options"
