Hi all,
since a few weeks I got the following error, by refreshing my data using a PBI gateway:
Before the data import for finished, its data source timed out. Double-check whether that data source can process import queries, and if it can, try again.
When i refresh the data manually in PBI Desktop, it works, everything fine.
I updatex the PBI Desktop and Gateway to the neuest version, June 2021, but still have the same error.
Could you please help me?

The source is Timing out not the Gateway nor the service. Your report is getting bigger and bigger over time therefore it needs more time to execute queries and refresh. Either the Server administrator work on extending the Time for query execution or (which i would recommend) you work on adjusting the performance of your report.

It seems like a connection time out. Please try this
Increase the "Command Timeout in Min" (double the time it's taking on the desktop)
