multiple people to upload to a workspace?

I created a workspace and published a powerbi desktop file up.

I want to allow multiple people to be able to upload to that workspace (i,e  if I am not available, another person can update and upload the report).  Is there a way to allow multiple people to upload to a worksapce if they have the pibx file?

I've been able to share my workspace link and have been able to toggle permissions such as "read only" and "read and reshare", but that is all that is all that I have found so far..

Hi semidevil,

To achieve your requirement, click ellipse beside your app workspace which you have created -> select Edit Workspace.

In Edit workspace pane, select “Members can edit Power BI content”, then assign mail account you want to share your workspace with in “Workspace members”. You can set the account with either Member or Admin like below:

Now your people you shared with can upload their report and dataset to the app workspace.

Yes you can.  First off, assuming the workspace is not a "My Workspace".  What you need to do is have created a Workspace, which is essentially an office 365 group.

Once you do this, you will need to assign access to this workspace, via Power BI, to each person and give them edit rights.  This can either be based on how you set up the work space (members can edit), or by making them admins.

Each person will require a Power BI pro license, even if you have Power BI Premium.

Thank you.  So I did create a workspace that is not "My workspace", but I can't find the  option to assign people edit rights.  where do I go exactly to change edit rights

You will have a section on the Left hand menu called "Workspaces >"

When you click on this, you will see a list of the workspaces you have access to.

Each workspace has a ... menu on the right hand side.  Click this menu for your workspace and select the 'Edit Workspace' option.

You will now get a pop up panel on the right of your screen.  Here you can add/remove members, set their level and choose whether all users of 'member' rank can edit or not.
