Hi

Did you manage to solve this problem?  We are experiencing the exact same issue

Regards

Garry

Any luck with this ?

Thanks

Yes i did.  in my case the issue was incorrectly configured SNC Partner name in the gateway connection.  The issue was the format of the SNC Partner name in the gateway.  it needs to be set in the following format

p:SAP/ServiceAccount@somedomain.com

ServiceAccount = the SPN you have configured for BW Kerberos authentican

somedomain.com = this is your corporate domain

Hi,

We have all these settings I still get this error.

Can you please let me konw if you are using  SSO to BW via gsskrb5  or CommonCryptoLib?

We are  use gsskrb5 .

Thanks

V

yes we are using gsskrb5.

 - does SSO work from the Powerbi desktop?

  - do you have delegation setup from your Gateway service account to the BW SPN?

hi

1. you need to ensure your SPN is set for the BW service account, e.g.

setspn -s SAP/ServiceAccount ADDOMAIN\ServiceAccount

ServiceAccount is your Service Account for SSO to BW

ADDOMAIN is the Active Directory domain

2. Setup delegation from the PowerBI Gateway to this BW service account, e.g.

Service Type = SAP

User or Computer = ServiceAccount

3. make sure your gateway datasource SNC partner is p:SAP/ServiceAccount@ADDomain.xxxx.com

Hi,

We have all these settings that you had mentioned. SSO to Bex works from PBI DESKTOP.

We get theis error when we try to refresh this from services.

If you can share your email id that would be great hep.

Thanks.

Hi @vishwa_molex,

Based on the error message, I'm afraid that the data you refreshed is not mached with the data you import, please check if the data in data source is changed the data type.

By research, it seems that this error may be casued by power query.

You could refer to this similar thread and have a try.
