how to create drill down for "Union" table

hi there,

 

Refer to the below post,

I would like to know how to create drill down function and slicer for the "Union" table (by product). thanks

Hi @erihsehc,

 

Normally power bi only support auto analysis date column to date hierarchy.
For your requirement, you can manual create custom hierarchy column and use it in hierarchy slicer.

I created another data model as below,

If the below table can be updated by the product slicer selection, i think the problem is solved (currently no update of the 1st row when the slicer selection is changed), would expert help? thanks

 

using formula to create that table: new table = {(1,CALCULATE(SUM(Sheet1[amt]),FILTER(ALLSELECTED(Sheet1),Sheet1[item]="1.sales"))),(2,2),(3,3)}

Hi @erihsehc,

 

After check on your sampe, I haven't found any available relationships or mapping to new table.
For your scenario, I don't think it will be possible to filter new table based on product column.

hi @v-shex-msft, actually, I would like to use "product" slicer to filter the "union" table, any idea on that
