I can see the power bi desktop version in about section, likewise how to find out power bi service version, after logging into app.powerbi.com ?

Once you login to your Power BI Service portal https://app.powerbi.com/, check on the Help Icon > About Power BI to see the Service version

I think theres not such a thing to look for as power bi service version at least not locally avaible to see, what you do have its montly upgrapes that adds to features monthly so you can assume today version its december 2020 version when january release comes out them its january 2021 version.
