failed to load resource - App Sharing with Guest

I have created an application and have shared it with two guest accounts.

One guest account gets directed to the application, the other one doesnt.

When looking at the console, it gives an error 'Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 401 (unauthorised)'

The access is excatly the same between the two accounts and Power Bi Pro licences have been assigned, so i cannot see why there would be an issue.

Any Suggestions?

Hi @sbatchelor,

1. Did the user have a free and a Pro at the same time?

2. What's the data source?

3. Are the two accounts in your organization?

Best Regards,

Dale

Hi,

I have assigned the guest account a pro license.

The guest account does have a free licence assigned to it on its own domain.

2. Its Azure Analysis Services.

3. Yes but they are on different Azure domains.

It doesn't seem to be getting passed the authentication stage when the user goes via the link that the workspace app provides.

The user that it doesnt work on, has Microsoft Teams whereas the user that it does work on, does not. Possibly a red herring but thats the only difference we can see between the two users.

Hi @sbatchelor,

Is it a live connection to Azure Analysis Services? Maybe you need to map-user-names.

Best Regards,

Dale
