can we install the gateway in the cloud????

In PowerBI , Is there any option for installing the gateway in the cloud???? not in the Computer 

If YES Please let me know the steps for installation.

Hi Sandeep,

Which cloud would you like to install a gateway in? If the cloud gateway can access the local resources easily, I'm afraid the gateway isn't that necessary. Why not using the PBI Service to connect the local resources directly?

1. If it's like an Azure VM, you can install a gateway as you do in the physical machine. 

2. We can create an Azure gateway which still needs the on-premises gateway. But that isn't for Power BI. Please refer to logic-apps/logic-apps-gateway-connection.

Above all, the answer is NO. It isn't necessary due to the local gateway is still needed.
