bug: power bi service workspace sub menu missing for long names

The power bi service has limited expandability for resizing object columns on the workspace.

For example  if one has a report name of 45 characters or more then the vertical elipsis submenu will not be shown and therefore unavailabile.

Using the 'Hide the navigation pane' button (1) on the top left hand side does give us another 15 characters.

After narrowing the columns to the left of the name we have some space (2) but trying to move the marker bar between Name and Type (3) we can only move to the right so far.

Yep only the workspace view has this limitation.  Home and datasets views are very 'flexible' :}

Is there a way to rename an entry to a shorter name so we can get to the vertical elipsis sub menu?

On the 'Considerations and troubleshooting' section of the https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/service-rename page the suggestion is to 'expand your browser window.' ... wonder if using a larger computer monitor will work :}

Currently using 24inch :}

Reducing the browser zoom was a fail.

Currently using Chrome, try Edge, Firefox and Opera = fail.

Vote for change ... or just for fun :}

And now today the virtical elipsis is showing for long report names!?

Using the pbi service today and the longest named report submenu is now accessable as shown in the screenshot and video.  Does this mean that the pbi service process adjusts within a given period to the longest name?  The report in question was added during yesterday so maybe a 24hour rejig.  Or m$ made the change which would be highly unlikely so soon I feel.

<a minute or two later> that theory is out the window as there are other reports within the workspace with even longer names that are not accessable due to the Name column width limitations 🙂
