analyse in excel permissions via apps

Hello,

I just wanted to know how we can give the users the option to analyse the report in excel if we have shred the reports through apps.

Also if we give these permissions does that mean users can access the workspace of the report?

Thanks in advance

Hi @Anonymous

If you have shared the app with user and has given appropriate access then user can go to app and click 3 dots, see below pic. there user should have option "Analyze with Excel", which will download the excel file.

If you have not added users to the workspace, they won't be able to get into the workspace, however if you have given appropriate access to data, build data, then they can download, but no workspace. Hope this helps

You can provide permission in Admin Portal > Tenant Settings
