Wrong dates displayed on the report after publishing

Hello Experts,

I have created a sharepoint list to show the 'timesheet periods' to users from Power BI report as these periods are different to regular periods.

Initially, i was facing problem as Power Bi was showing one day off from some of the dates which is resolved now in the data source (i.e. power bi data model and i can see the correct dates - see below)

But when i publish this on the server, the dates are automatically changing and showing one day off again for some of the periods. See below snapshot from the live power bi report.

Please help me to resolve this.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, @manojnikam3008 ;

First on Power bi Desktops you change two Settings as follows:

1.option

2. change type in power query

then republish it ,and set the language of the browser and computer system to the same locale. here i use english ,you could change it about yours.

Thanks for your reply!

I have tried this but it's not working for me. I still see the same dates i.e. Actual Day - 1

Thanks,

Manoj

Hi, @manojnikam3008 ;

Can you share the formula for these two dates? It's easy to understand the logic of the date, and also to notice if it's a UTC problem?

Hi,

These dates are not calculated instead manually typed in each column of Sharepoint List.

Yes, it seems like a problem with UTC. I have fixed this in the data set but when i publish the report, it automatically changes back to wrong dates on the live report whereas dataset still shows me the correct schedule. The problem is only with months highlighted above.

Thanks,

Manoj Nikam
