Workspaces not removing Dashboards when saving a copy or deleting

Hi guys,

I have a report which is updated on a monthly basis and updated to a PBI workspace. The previous month's dashboard is copied to a other workspace (Archive) and then the prev month dashboard is deleted.

For some reason I notice that when I have taken the steps to add myself to the permissions, copy the dashboard to "Archive" and then deleting the prev month dashboard, it still remains in the workspace.

Could anyone explain why this could be happening? It has happened a few times now which is strange!

Hi @indyb ,

After you delete the prev dashboard are you waiting a few minutes and then refreshing the entire browser?  Sometimes the browser doesn't refresh to reflect the change until you manually do it.

I would appreciate Kudos if my response was helpful. I would also appreciate it if you would Mark this As a Solution if it solved the problem. Thanks!

Hi @indyb ,

Sorry, I can't reproduce your problem. When I have edit permission in the workspace, deleting the copied report is always deleted immediately. Is it related to your network or browser?

Best Regards,
Liang

Thank you! I think it may be a browser issue as sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. I think I may just do it a bit slower so the page refreshes correctly as suggested above. My internet speed isnt the best so that could be a contributing factor I guess!
