Will Sync slicers execute on other tabs ?

I have 25 tabs in my report. 

Most of the tabs has the slicers that are synced.

If I choose the value in any slicer on my 1st tab, will my report start to execute the slicer selection in ALL my other tabs where that slicer is synced ?

No, tabs not in view don't calculate.

I also felt the same.

My understanding is only tab that is active is executed queries, when you click on the next until then queries are not sent to your dataset to fetch the data. 

But for some reason, my report got slow after syncing slicers.

Note:- I have 25 tabs with 4-8 slicers synced in all the pages.
